A great installment.

This is my favorite Xbox 360 game of all time, Gears of War 3 expands the experience from the previous installments with amazing gameplay, graphics and story...

However, please note that the match making system isn't great and may take a few attempts to find a match if your Nat type isn't set to open as there aren't many people playing any mode apart from TDM.

Love it!

Great game! Story is quality, the multiplayer get a bit annoying because of the retro lancer and sawn-off shotgun but what are you gonna do... Quality game, Quality Story, Lag Free multiplayer. What more do you want!

Great Game

Single player the best of the series without a doubt bigger & better even if you haven't played the previous two titles the majority of things are explained in the opening cinematic so playing the prior games in optional

Multiplayer fun for beginners and previous gears players a little stressful at times but once you get over a few learning curves a great experience overall and plenty of game modes keeping you coming back for more :D

Overall great game by far my favourite of the series

It's been a long time coming but it's finally here in all it cogy glory. Back with the cover system that sparked many clones but never quite matched the control, with a few tweaks thrown in. Story well paced and ties up most of the loose ends from the previous 2 games without punishing the user for not knowing or remembering them. ( would recommend the first two as you could pick them up for pennies by now.) characters well fleshed out so you actually do care what happens to them. single player Gameplay excellent with an AI just challenging enough on the normal setting to give you a good time without punishing mistakes. With the now 4 player co-op campaign with easy drop in and out mechanic, you and your mates can have a blast.
Multiplayer as before is well a stablished with tight new death match and horde2.0 maps to keep you coming back for more.
Have played this game a lot since shopto delivered it a day before release Kudos to them. And will still be playing during interruptions from batman and the massive line up of excellent games coming your way.
Definately rate this game a five star. get to it soldier the locust and lambet scum are awaiting their booty call, or at least your boot in theor ugly head he he. you won't be disappointed.

Awesome

Have always been a gears fan, Gears 1 still probably being my favourite. Gears 3 is great fun though on the campaign side and versus. To be honest i usually give up on an online game after a couple weeks and go back to what ever i was previously playing (usually halo). How ever with this im hooked.
Highly recommend to anyone who likes competitive OR cooperative gameplay :)

Loved the singleplayer - the storyline wasnt as long as i had hoped, by the looks of it they pinning the dlc hopes on extending the storyline...it can be completed in 5-6hrs without any probs, as for the multiplayer that entices you in for a couple of hours but you start to realise that there isnt a big influx of players to play with..its OK, if you have loads of friends playing otherwise it gets boring...really not much incentive to keep you ingrossed in the game..if your a gow fan then its a must, but if you fancy a quick play then really this isnt for you...its based on ending a storyline and if you havent played the rest then you wont really understand whats going on!!

Awesome

I have been palying Non-stop since release day I really enjoyed the Horde & Beast modes. But I loved palying through the campaign with my buddy's even more, the graphics and cinematics are very impressive and the story is gripping, compelling and action packed throughout!!!!

The best action game.

I have just finished the campaign, it's the best out of the three as far as I am concerned.

The game just feels bigger better thought through and more action than ever.

I am surprised I thought I might have been let down after some recent sequels of other games.

Playability is superb as it is graphically.

A must buy for action fans.
