THQ Boss Danny Bilson has said that Darksiders 2 is already playable on the Wii U, although Nintendo chose not to show it on the show floor.
Speaking in an interview with Eurogamer, Bilson said, “we have Darksiders II completely running on the Wii U right now.
“It took about five weeks. Coming into the show we were ready to go. We could have demonstrated it on the hardware but [Nintendo] decided not to have full games shown in the booth.”
Bilson also went on to mention that the team at Vigil was also one of the first to get dev kits, and that it’s even working with the new controller.
“We could have shown it,” Bilson confirmed to Eurogamer.
Darksiders 2 is one of our most anticipated titles so we would love to hear more on this, especially considering claims from the developer that the Wii U version could be the best of the lot.
