The LittleBigPlanet 2 Move Pack was officially announced at Sony’s E3 press conference and we’ve now got some more information regarding the DLC that will let you create levels with and for the PlayStation Move controller.
The DLC will not only ship with the new creation tools, but it will also come with a set of move levels created by Media Molecule to inspire you to create your own masterpieces.
One of the pack’s new tools is the Manipulator, a power-up that can be placed in a level to instantly enable PlayStation Move gameplay, as a character walks over it. While activated, the manipulator can be used to move and adjust objects, within a certain range of your sackboy.
The Moveinator, which is effectively the Controlinator for Move, allows creators to adjust items using all of the Move’s controls, including the gyroscopes for rotation and accelerometers to move items up, down, left and right.
Another big addition is the Move Cursor, which comes in the form of a logic trip that you can place in your level. Once it’s been placed you can use the PlayStation Move controller to aim cursor, which can be customized and tweaked in almost any way you like.
The pack also brings a lot of new smaller tweaks and additions to the creation mode. You can read about all of that, on the EU PS Blog.
The Move Pack is due out at the end of the summer and LBP 2 is already available. If you don’t own a copy yet, you can buy one from ShopTo, here.
