Capcom has today announced that they are working on Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, which will follow in the footsteps of Super Street Fighter IV by bringing new characters and stages, as well as enhanced fighting mechanics and new features, to the table.
The ultimate edition will add 12 new fighters in total, with the first 4 being Hawkeye, Ghost Rider, Firebrand, and Strider Hiryu. If you’re unfamiliar with any of these, you can see them in action below.
The major gameplay upgrades come in the form of re-balancing and an improvements to the game’s online functionality, which includes the addition of a new ‘spectator mode’, which allows friends to group up and watch others battle it out in online matches.
The new additions will take ‘the epic battle to all new heights’, when the title launches this November on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Capcom has also stated that the game will be available for a ‘mid-range price’, although no specific figure was given.
