Market research firm Fade has claimed that revenue for Xbox LIVE Arcade rose percent in the first six months of the year.
According to Fade, $66.2 million was raised through sales in the first six months of 2011, with seven new releases grossing a million US dollars.
The biggest title of the year was Microsoft’s very own Full House Poker, selling over a quarter of a million units (268k) and earning $2.7 million in revenue. Torchlight, (sitting in second place in the table below) was the highest grossing game earning $3.6 million.
Fade is claiming that a combination of an increase in hardware sales and the rise in cost of the games on the service is responsible for these spectacular results.
