505 Games and HB Studious have announced that Rugby World Cup 2011 will feature three separate commentary teams, courtesy of the UK, France and a collaboration between Australia and New Zealand.
Stuart Barnes and Miles Harrison of Sky Sports fame will voice the UK commentary, which will be an easy task for a pair with over 20 years of rugby experience, coming from being both on the field and in the commentary box.
The French commentary comes from Rugby Hall of Fame member Philippe Sella and Eric Bayle, the lead commentator for French TV channel Canal +.
The third and final commentary is courtesy of Sean Fitzpatrick, captain of New Zealand’s international team for five years and host of this year’s tournament, who will join forces with Greg Clark, whose 27 years of broadcast experience most recently consists of hosting Inside Rugby for Fox Sports in Australia.
Rugby World Cup 2011 is set to launch later this month, on Xbox 360 and PS3. You can pre-order a copy from ShopTo here (PS3), or here (360).
