EA Sports has launched a new subscription service, Season Ticket, which will be available to players of their FIFA, Madden, NHL and PGA Tour franchises.
Players can purchase an annual subscription for 2000 Microsoft Points, which will give them access to a downloadable version of the full game, three days prior to its retail release. Once the three days are over and the title has been released, the download will time out. However, players will be able to transfer their saves and game data into the game once they’ve purchased it from a retailer.
Subscribers will also gain access to additional benefits, including a 20% discount on all DLC, free premium web content and an in-game badge, for bragging rights.
In order to ensure players can take full advantage of the early access privilege, downloads will become available at 6pm CET, four days before launch. This way, by the time the game has downloaded, the game will be available to play for the entire three days.
The service is available exclusively on Xbox 360 in Australia, Europe, New Zealand and on both the Xbox 360 and PS3 in North America.
