Nintendo has announced that The Legend of Zelda Symphony Concert Tour will be heading to London for a one-off visit, later this year.
The tour is Nintendo’s way of celebrating Zelda’s 25th anniversary, which is quite a milestone for both the company and the series.
Taking place at the HMV Hammersmith Apollo on October 25 2011, the London show will be the tour’s only European concert. The songs will be hand-picked by Nintendo composer Koji Kondo and played by a 70-piece orchestra.
“The Legend of Zelda series is famous for its beautiful music and we are thrilled to celebrate 25 years of memorable soundtracks from this iconic series by letting a symphony orchestra bring this music to life,” said Laurent Fischer, Managing Director of Marketing & PR for Nintendo Europe.
Tickets for the concert start at £33.75 and will be available from Ticketmaster, when they go on sale this Monday (8th August).
