Twisted Metal has been delayed into next year, according to a blog post made by Eat Sleep Play co-founder David Jaffe.
The game, which was originally due to release on October 4, is “just not ready”, according to Jaffe.
Thankfully, Jaffe seems to have high hopes for the title. He even claimed that it wouldn’t be a bad game if they were to ship it out as it is, but they’re aiming for what sounds like perfection so it just won’t do.
“Now, if we shipped Twisted Metal tomorrow – going off the response from folks who have played it – I assure you, it would never be a bad game. Not even close. But we’re aiming for a heck of a lot more than that! With Twisted Metal we plan to ship a multiplayer classic. We plan to ship the best Twisted Metal ever made” he said.
The good news is, he also announced that Twisted Metal will be playable at both Gamescom and PAX Prime.
