Atlus has announced that it’s to release a Persona 4 remake for PlayStation Vita, naming it Persona 4: The Golden.
Famitsu revealed the details (translated by Andriasang) which includes the addition of a new character named Marie, more voice dialogue, the ability to call for help from other players, a new opening anime and new animation movies.
The game, which will release in Spring 2012, also includes 3G and Wi-Fi support, new event scenes, added Personas and finally, added character outfits.
In addition to the above, and perhaps more surprising is Persona 4 The Ultimate In Mayonaka Arena. Developed by Arc’s BlazBlue team, the Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena brings a new story that takes place two months after the events of Persona 4. Characters from Persona 4 and Persona 3 will feature in the game.
Finally there was also some small details on Persona 5, with Famitsu stating that basic preparations for the game’s development have been completed, with the usual staff members in place.
