Sony’s 3D display to arrive in November for Japan

Remember the 3D Display which Sony announced for gamers at this year’s E3? Well it now has a final release date, in Japan at least.

Priced ¥44,980, the display will arrive in the Far East on November 2, although there is still no news as to when it will arrive in the rest of the World.

The 24″ display is designed for gamers, allowing PSP games to be displayed in full screen and best of all it includes Sony’s ‘SimilView,’ which allows for split-screen play but gives the appearance of each player having a full screen to themselves, although both players need to wear 3D glasses for this to work.

According to Andriasang, the ¥44,980 price includes the display, power cord, a 2.0m HDMI cable, and a 3D glasses. Separate glasses will cost ¥5,980 each in Japan.
