Oh dear. It’s being reported today that Ubisoft has forgotten to include codes for the UPlay Passport in North American Xbox 360 copies of Driver: San Francisco.
According to Joystiq, the Xbox 360 version is being sold by retailers without the Passport, a code required to access multiplayer beyond the 48-hour trial period.
Ubisoft has since told Joystiq that it will “clear everything up in regard to the Uplay Passport codes and Driver: San Francisco,” although we aren’t entirely sure how the publisher will go about doing that.
Ubisoft has scrapped its UPlay Passport fee for this game due to this and other issues. Gamers with no access to the code can now unlock the Uplay Passport for free.
