Activision has won a court case against the person responsible for buying modernwarfare3.com and redirecting it to Battlefield 3.
The site, which was full of anti-COD material now seems to be offline and therefore Activision will be pleased to have removed this bad publicity.
Activision’s case seemed to have been straightforward and even though owner Anthony Abraham argued during the case that the term “modern warfare” is generic and is not monopolised by Activision, the publisher still managed to convince the three man panel that the law was on its side.
We think that the right decision has been made in this case. What do you think?
