Japanese Charts, w/e 11/09 – PS3 is top seller

The Japanese sales charts for the week ending September 11 have arrived, showing a big boost in sales for PS3.

This week, mainly thanks to the release of Tales of Xillia, Resident Evil: Revivial Selection and Resistance 3, the PS3 sales have almost doubled to 64,786 in comparison to sales of 33,831 last week.

What this means for the 3DS is that it’s having to settle for second place, although it’s still going strong after it’s recent price cut.
