Cheaters to be stamped out in MW3

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has announced that there will be an entire new system to help stop cheaters affecting the upcoming Modern Warfare 3.

This year there will be dedicated teams monitoring game play and stats gathered from Call of Duty: Elite and other sources.

Alongside these measures there will be anti-pirate measures thanks to a system called “Challenge Response.”

“Challenge response things. I can’t go into detail on it but it’s about verifying what the code is supposed to be and what the code actually is on the client side, and making sure that those are aligned.”

Understandably we have probably all heard these promises in previous games and series, yet hopefully Infinity Ward can deliver.

Modern Warfare 3 is due out this November for PC, PS3, Wii and Xbox 360. You can pre-order a copy here (PC),here (PS3) or here (360).
