Namco will be pleased as it’s been announced that Dark Souls sold over 200,000 units during its first week on sales in Japan.
The game, which is actually a PlayStation exclusive in the far east, sold a whopping 228,870 copies according to reports on Getmasu; in fact Sony may be please with that as well.
Speaking of Sony, the Ico & Shadow of the Colossus Collection sold 90,220 units, while separately ICO sold 7,680 copies, and Shadow of the Colossus sold 16,650.
We will be bringing you our Dark Souls review very soon, or at least we hope we will; this is one difficult game, but then you already knew that.
