It’s being reported today that downloading files via 3G on PlayStation Vita will be capped to 20Mb.
According to a report from ASCII, it seems given downloads on devices such as the iphone currently have a smaller cap size, games and other apps on the Sony PlayStation Vita will have to follow suit.
Obviously gamers will still be able to download full retail titles via the PlayStation Store using WiFi, however for now at least it seems 3G will have this limit, which may very well encourage developers to make smaller games in addition to the blockbuster games which are destined for the handheld.
PlayStation Vita is set to launch on December 17 in Japan and early next year for the US and Europe. Thanks, Andriasang.
