Sony has confirmed that Uncharted 3 and all future Worldwide Studio games from the hardware giant will make use of the PSN Pass.
The pass first appeared in Resistance 3, however it will also be included in Uncharted 3 and future Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios games with online functionality.
The PSN Pass basically allows people to play online with the use of a one-off code provided by purchasing a new version of the game. Anyone buying pre-owned with therefore have to purchase the pass in order to get online.
This hardly comes as a surprise as it seems to be the trend amongst publishers at the moment, with companies such as EA, THQ and Ubisoft all implementing this system in order to try and drag back some sales from the pre-owned market.
