Ubisoft has confirmed that its new music game, Rocksmith, will not be available in Europe until 2012.
The publisher says this is is due to music licensing and other external factors and advises that for those of you in Europe who plan to import the game to do so at your own risk.
According to Ubisoft, the Xbox 360 version of the game is region locked, while the PS3 version of the game is not region locked, but doesn’t support PAL.
It also goes on to advise that the PSN store is region locked, and therefore you will not be able to download DLC outside of your region.
Rocksmith allows you to plug in your own guitar and play along to the music, acting as a way to basically teach you how to play.
