There was no doubt that it was going to happen, but this weeks charts are in and Batman: Arkham City has climbed its way to the top.
Arkham City also becomes this year’s fourth biggest launch, behind FIFA 12, Gears of War 3 and LA Noire, with sales double that of previous game, Arkham Asylum.
Elsewhere in the chart FIFA 12 remains in second spot, while the excellent Football Manager 2012 (writing the review as we speak) lands in third spot.
Forza 4 and Just Dance 3 make up the top five, while Sims 3: Pets, PES 2012m Zumba Fitness and Gears of War 3 make up the top ten.
