Relentless Software has today announced a Kinect exclusive title to be known as Kinect Nat Geo TV.
The new title will be available in spring 2012 and is part of Microsoft’s “playful learning” initiative, that delivers enriching and entertaining content for children.
According to the press release the Kinect motion control will see families do more than just watch the show, ‘They can expand their knowledge of nature and become real stewards of the world.’
Andrew Eades, Executive Director commented: ”Relentless and Microsoft Studios are renowned for pushing the boundaries of what a gaming experience means. At Relentless, we’ve always made games for everyone and with Kinect we are able to reach new audiences. With experiences like “Buzz” and now “Kinect Nat Geo TV,” we continue to demonstrate that if you bring the language of TV into the realm of video games you can bring millions of non-gamers into the fold. We’re proud to partner with Microsoft Studios, National Geographic, Casey Anderson and his best friend Brutus to bring a new kind of entertainment to kids and their families.”
Look out for more on this soon.
