Starbreeze, the studio responsible for the recently announced Syndicate reboot, is also working on a PSN game.
“We are actually doing it. Right now,” CEO Mikael Nermark said of the game to PSM3 (via CVG), before adding that it’s “a self-financed thing.”
Speaking regarding the development of the game, Nermark also added that developing this type of game means a different way of focusing for the studio.
“I think that’s the hardest part for us – to adjust when we’re doing the small stuff. Because as a studio, we think big.
“We can’t be that big when we’re making a PSN game. A big game can be anything between 120-200 staff, whereas a small project is one tenth of that, so you have to be able to understand how you handle your resources.”
Syndicate is due to launch in February next year. There is no date for the self-financed PSN title as of yet.
