A fake email is doing the rounds which claims to be from PlayStation, which if filled in will give unauthorised access to your username and password.
The email (seen below via Official PS Forums) looks like it is from a real PlayStation address, while the set out of the email uses the PS3 logo to try and convince users of it’s authenticity.
According to Sony, “The message you received was not sent by a representative of Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA).”
Sony also adds that “If you have clicked on any links included in the email or have replied to the email, we also recommend that you immediately change your PlayStation Network account password.”
In other words, if you see this email delete it immediately or if you like, report it to Sony so that it can investigate further.
