Gravity Rush is to include two kinds of missions according to a new story in Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu.
According to the mag, it’ll include both Story missions, which move the plot forward and have bosses to fight and also Challenge missions, which you complete to earn precious gems and power up the main character Kat.
Apparently the Challenge Missions are more or less essential to complete, as the precious gems will help you get the most out of Kat’s abilities. Kat’s main skill is having the ability to manipulate gravity, allowing her to fly, walk on walls and pull of impressive slam attacks which cause a devastating effect to the enemy.
We recently played the 10 minute demo from the Japanese PSN Store and came away very impressed with both the mechanics and the unique art style. In fact, based on the demo we’d say that Gravity Rush is certainly on our must have list for the Vita launch next month.
