Famitsu magazine has posted a small feature on Final Fantasy Versus XIII in its latest issue, in which it speaks to game director Tetsuya Nomura.
According to the small piece, Nomura promises even better graphics than seen in the trailers last year. Real time rendering, Nomura says, has vastly improved.
As reported by Siliconera, Final Fantasy Versus XIII will still have pre-rendered cutscenes from Square’s CG movie division Visual Works, however Nomura says pre-rendered scenes wont interfere with controlling the game and that’s one of the reasons why the the scene when Noctis meets Stella was changed to a pre-rendered cutscene.
Perhaps the best news to come out of this is that Nomura says he plans to show the game running on actual hardware the next time it’s shown to the public.
