It has been announced today that the new Doctor Who game The Eternity Clock will be exclusive to PlayStation platforms.The game is currently under development at SuperMassive Games with the backing of BBC Worldwide. The Eternity Clock will put players in the Tweed jacket (but not the Fez) of The Doctor and into the stylish shoes of Doctor River Song.
“Doctor Who: The Eternity Clock is such an exciting release for us” said Robert Nashak, EVP Digital Entertainment and Gaming, BBC Worldwide. “It’s one of our most ambitious projects to date, using state of the art motion sensor technology to create stunning graphics as well as specially created vocals. We’re delighted that we’re able to team up with Sony Computer Entertainment Europe for this release, a company who are so well respected in the gaming universe.”
The cast will return to give their voices to the characters within the game, however only Matt Smith and Alex Kingston have been confirmed thus far.

The Eternity Clock is due for release in the Spring.
