PlayStation France CEO Philippe Cardon has told French site Le Point that a new Monster Hunter game will be arriving on the PS Vita in the near future.
Speaking in an interview with the site, Cardon apparently said,”The games available at launch in Japan do not correspond to the typology of the Japanese public. It lacks a particular game, Monster Hunter, scheduled for the coming months.
“Had it been there from the start in Japan, the story would have been different.”
Cardon also went on to add that he feels the launch line up is a lot more tailored for the European audience saying, “We must put things into perspective and stay calm.”
There has been no confirmation other than the above, from either Sony or Capcom regarding a Monster Hunter title for the Vita, so whether it will be a new game i.e Monster Hunter 4 or a port of a previous title remains to be seen.
