BioWare is planning to make use of Mass Effect 3 save games, at least that’s what was hinted at in a new interview.
“It wouldn’t be a bad idea (to keep your ME3 saves)” said Associate Producer Mike Gamble talking to GamerZines last week. “Obviously I can’t say anything, but it wouldn’t be a bad idea…”
Given that both Mass Effect 2 and 3 both use save states from the games to help shape the story, could this already be a hint that Mass Effect 4 is in consideration?
Of course we already know that this will be the last we see of Commander Shepard in the Mass Effect series, so it could be that we are in for some form of spin-off, or perhaps Bioware is planning to reward those with save games in some other way?
It’s all speculation we suppose, but hey, it is Friday.
Mass Effect 3 arrives on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC on March 9th, order your copy from ShopTo here.
