2K Games has said that it is not currently developing Borderlands 2 for the PlayStation Vita, quashing rumours that it was.
The rumours started off when a supposed email from Gearbox boss Randy Pitchford, seemed to be seen urging gamers to contact 2K and Sony about the possibility of a port to the Vita.
“I love the Vita as do a lot of folks at the studio and we have explored this. We’ll need some partner’s help and partner’s commitments to make this happen,” reads the email.
Publisher 2K has told Vg247 that there are currently no plans to develop the game for Vita, although fan pressure may very well overturn this particular decision.
