Kenji Inafune has hinted that he is working on a new title for Sony’s PlayStation Vita, Gamespot reports.
Speaking during a GDC 2012 session titled “The Future of Japanese Games,” Inafune said that new hardware pushes developers creatively and noted that he’s been working on the PS Vita, although he then stopped, saying he wasn’t supposed to talk about that.
He did not reveal any additional information, such the direction of the game or which company is behind the project.
One things for sure, Inafune certainly has a colourful past, having worked on the first Street Fighter, before moving on to Mega Man and the Resident Evil series.
It’ll be interesting to see what he has planned for the PS Vita who knows we may even find out tomorrow.
