Treyarch gets set for next Call of Duty

Call of Duty developer Treyarch seems to be gearing up for the next game in the series, if a whole load of job listings on the developers website is anything to go by.

Looking into the ads you can see that Treyarch are looking for people to “come join the team responsible for the award winning games Call of Duty: World at War, Nazi Zombies, and most recently, Call of Duty: Black Ops.”

Other hints at a new game come in the  Combat Designer description which says the position “reports into the Design Director for the Call of Duty multiplayer team at Treyarch”, while the role of Scripter “may require that the applicant takes a design test utilizing Call of Duty mod tools.”

It’s unknown when Treyarch will release a new Call of Duty game, usually they take a one year break, with other studios, such as Infinity Ward, being responsible for the game in between.

E3 will no doubt hold the answer, although that’s still a few months away yet.

Thanks Gamerzines.
