PlayStation Norway are teasing what seems to be some sort of Uncharted reveal, although at the moment it’s difficult to tell what it could be.
As reported by VG247, it all started off with a picture of Norwegian explorer Fridtjof Nansen, on the Norwegian Facebook page, which was also accompanied by the word “uutforsket,” which in english means “unexplored”.
According to Wikipedia, Nansen was an explorer who explored Greenland, and also took part in an expedition that took him to the North Pole between 1893 and 1896.
To add an even bigger twist to this, a new webpage, uutforsket.no, has also appeared. What’s curious about this, even though it could be unrelated, is that it has Uncharted plastered all over it in terms of its theme.
The most interesting part though is the date, March 22, at 20:59.
Finally, Naughty Dog has also teased some new screens, which may or may not be related to this reveal, TSA grabbed them, although since they have not sourced their article, we can’t say for sure where these screens came from and what they are relating to.
A commenter on VG247 has revealed that Sony released a campaign along the same lines in Denmark before the release of Uncharted 3.
“It was a social campaign in which people could follow the trails of the Danish (fictional) treasure hunter Wilhelm Von Bernhoff” says the commenter.
“The purpose was to solve riddles and use clues to find a treasure hidden in Copenhagen.”
Looking at the website http://www.uudforsket.dk, you can see a text which says “The campaign is over.”
Could this be a similar campaign, leading up to the release of something? Only time will tell.
