Caibur11 Mass Effect 3 Vault – quick look

The Calibur11 Mass Effect 3 vault is something that any fan of the series would be more than happy to place around the shell of their console.

Protecting your console with its Mass Effect 3 armour design and N7 Logo, which incidentally glows thanks to it’s two LED settings, this is an impressive piece of kit. We were very impressed with the Gears of War Vault and this latest custom design for Bioware’s Mass Effect series is no different.

One of the main purposes of the vault is to protect your console, with style being added as a bonus. As with all of Calibur11′s previous vault’s, this means a lot more airflow to the console due to the included stand which lifts the console up from the floor and provides enough room for the air to get underneath the console and keep it cool. Even though the console is covered in a new skin, all of the air vents remain uncovered, meaning that you will be able to rest easy and know that far from your console overheating.

The other bonus is that the included stand makes your console feel more stable when it’s standing upwards, which should give you piece of mind, especially if you have small children who like to play with the console or have a habit of pushing things over.

Obviously a big bonus of the Vault is that it’s Mass Effect branded, which means that you can customise your console for a decent price. Other bonuses include the inclusion of the Reinforcement Pack DLC which is included with Mass Effect 3 vault and of course, a certificate of authenticity to give you piece of mind.

Finally, the Vault also comes with a headset/controller cradle, allowing you to hook your controller over it. Which for me at least, means no more crawling on all fours on the floor, looking for yet another lost Dualshock 3.

The Mass Effect 3 vault is very easy to fit onto your machine, coming with clear instructions and all the screws and bolts you need to fit it onto your PS3 or Xbox 360, depending on which version you opted for.
