We were being sarcastic of course. There was no way that Mario wouldn’t debut alongside the Wii U. He is, after all, Nintendo’s most popular character.
Anyway, back to the news. Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed that Super Mario for Wii U exists and that it’ll be shown off at E3.
Spanish site El Mundo spoke to legendary developer who confirmed what we’d already guessed.
As well as outing Super Mario for Wii U, Miyamoto also talked about how his time is currently being devoted to Luigi’s Mansion 2 and Pikmin 3, although there was no mention as to when we will see more on these titles.
