Splash Damage has unveiled a new, free-to-play title known as RAD Soldiers.
Rad Soldiers is set in London, where teams of mercenaries fight for control. You create a unique squad of collectible mercs, customise weapons, outfits and abilities and battle either against the AI or online against your friends.
“Turn-based combat means there’s no rush, allowing you to ponder your next move at your leisure, and giving you ample time to unleash your inner tactical genius,” said game director Richard Jolly. “And you’ll earn valuable experience for your soldiers whenever you play, levelling up your squad commander to unlock new abilities.”
In related news, Splash Damage says it’s still planning to work on AAA games, with two projects currently in the works, one of which is for PC and the other for consoles.
