Rockstar has announced details of the DLC due to be released for Max Payne 3, as well as revealing information on the Rockstar Pass.
According to the developer, “new multiplayer maps, modes, bursts, items, playable characters, challenges and more,” will be available to purchase in the coming months on PSN, XBLA and PC.
“The story of Max Payne 3 begins in the single-player game and crosses over into the deepest multiplayer experience we’ve ever created,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We intend to support the Max Payne community with new and innovative content well into the future.”
The first Max Payne 3 map pack arrives in June 2012. Dubbed “Local Justice,” the Map Pack includes the Police Precinct map for Gang Wars, Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer multiplayer modes. The pack will also feature two additional maps for Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch and Payne Killer, new precinct-themed multiplayer avatar items, multiplayer challenges, and more.
