Sony asked Plastic, the developer behind upcoming PlayStation 3 exclusive Datura, to make an immersive VR environment out of consumer electronics. The developer pulled it off, with impressive results.
Equipment used to immerse everyone in the experience include Sony’s HMZ-T1 personal projector, a second PlayStation Move controller attached to the user’s head, a huge studio and a whole lot of lighting
Datura is out next week on the PlayStation Network, you can play it using PS Move or a standard controller.
Looks like Move is finally getting some impressive games though, Datura, Sorcery, Pixeljunk 4am, The Unfinished Swan. We wonder what else is to come.
