Minecraft Xbox 360 developer 4J Studios have said that both Microsoft and Mojang are keen for this latest version of the game to take its own direction in terms of content.
Speaking to NowGamer, Paddy Burns, chief technical officer at 4J, said, “Mojang and Microsoft are keen for us to add new content to the game specifically for Xbox, and while we are working on updating the game version in the short term, we will be looking at specific Xbox content in the longer term.”
Just like the PC version though, it seems like any new content will be dictated by the fans, rather than the developers.
“We would love to see a community growing around the Xbox version of the game,” said Paddy, “and it is something we are all very keen to enable as we continue developing the game.”
Ash is mining through the Xbox 360 version of the game right now, so we’ll have a review for you very soon.
