The company which brought us Windows and whose name is one of the first you think of when technology springs to mind – Microsoft, is finally bringing the internet to the Xbox 360.
Who would have thought that it would be MS that’d be last to the races on this one, however it sounds like it’s finally going to happen according to The Verge.
Microsoft is apparently testing a modified version of Internet Explorer 9 on its Xbox 360 console, which will let Xbox users surf all parts of the web. Kinect is also being integrated into the experience, so you’ll be able to use your hands and voice if that’s how you roll. Otherwise it’s optional.
There is no release date yet, however we expect it’ll roll out soon after E3.
