Capcom says it expects four of its titles to sell over a million copies in this fiscal year.
The titles in question are Resident Evil 6, which the company expects to sell 7 Million; Devil May Cry which has expected sales of 2 Million; Dragon’s Dogma, 1.5 Million and Lost Planet 3 which it expects to sell 1.4 Million. All of these titles are expected to be released this fiscal year, with most sales expected to come from the west.
Capcom says of the total 20 million unit sales planned, the company expects 7.6 million of these to come from North America, 6.5 million from Japan, 5.2 million from Europe and 700,000 from Asia.
Digital sales are also expected to increase from 2.8 billion yen last year to 3.5 billion yen this year. DLC will come in the shape of Dragon’s Dogma quests, Resident Evil Operation Raccoon City getting new modes and maps and also new characters for Street Fighter x Tekken.
Capcom will also restructure internally in order to streamline other areas of the business by creating a new Digital Contents division.
