Here we go again. Yet more developers have fallen foul to Linkedin, as both Battlefield: Bad Company 3 and Mirror’s Edge 2 have both turned up in numerous profiles.
Gamerzines points to one LinkedIn user, Michael Joseph C., who states that he “provided video game prototype, design and demo feedback on various AAA titles including the Battlefield: Bad Company 3, Dead Space 2, Devil May Cry 5 and other unannounced titles”, between 2009 and 2011.
Another profile, from an ex-EA Software Engineer claims that he worked on Mirror’s Edge 2 between July and August 2009, implementing “the wandering of crowd system within Unreal3 engine”.
Finally, yet another ex-employee claims to have been tasked with implementing “new gadgets and interactive features” into Mirror’s Edge 2, including “leaderboards” and a “mini-game embedded into mirror’s edge game story”.
None of these games have ever been mentioned by EA, suggesting that either someone is playing a huge joke or that we’ll see them at E3, we know which option we reckon it’ll be.
