Yet another new game has been announced for the PlayStation Vita, this time coming from Zen Studios.
KickBeat, is a “music combat game” in which you match beats to pull off various martial art moves in time with the music. There’ll be no on-screen prompts, meaning that you’ll be able to pull off all sorts of moves using your own sequences.
The soundtrack is made up of licensed tunes, alongside lesser known acts, while you’ll also be able to import your own music into the game and use the built-in analyser to create your own tracks.
“Kickbeat is a showcase example of passion, risk and creativity,” commented Zen Studios chief Zsolt Kigyossy on the PS Blog.
“Traditional publishers might shy away from this type of thinking, but we will embrace it. After all, what’s the point of working in video games if you just keep making the same one?”
According to a comment from the developer the game will be download only.
