Sony is getting ready to reveal a revamp to PlayStation Plus during its E3 press conference, according to a new report.
Multiple sources have indicated to Eurogamer that part of Sony’s E3 press conference will be devoted to running through the revamp, which is designed to help convince more people to sign up.
As we have previously reported and speculated, this will involve top tier games being given away as part of the package, as well as proper implementation of Vita exclusive titles, DLC and cloud services.
Elsewhere, Eurogamer is also reporting that the Gaikai deal may not be linked to PlayStation consoles, but could actually be related to cloud gaming through Sony televisions. Gaikai has declined to comment on this, but did say that it has “some major announcements in store for E3 that have the potential to change the future of video games, game consoles and how we play”.
