The latest PS Store update has revealed the release date of Battlefield 3 premium and the DLC to accompany it, Close Quarters.
EA will release the content just as E3 gets here, with the release date slated for June 4 for both Premium and Close Quarters.
- Battlefield 3 – Close Quarters (Monday 4th June release) (£11.99, €14.99, AU$23.95)
- Battlefield 3 – Premium (Monday 4th June release) (£39.99, €49.99, AU$79.95)
You’ll be able to grab premium for £39.99, which will no doubt include the new DLC content along with future content and some ‘COD Elite-like’ features. If you don’t fancy that, then you’ll be able to pick up Close Quarters on its own for £11.99.
Usually DLC for Battlefield 3 is exclusive to PS3 for a week, so it may be that this content won’t arrive elsewhere until the following week.
