The Nintendo police will be out in full force when the WiiU’s Miiverse launches. Any messages sent using the service will take up to 30 minutes to appear said Nintendo boss Satoru Iwata.
Each message posted to the social function will be monitored by some folk at Nintendo who verify the contents and them visible after. Nintendo head Satoru Iwata has said the protocol is there to protect the child friendly aspect of the service.
“The attraction of a social network is the immediacy of the feedback,” “But personally, I think 30 minutes should be acceptable,”
This is sure to scratch peoples heads and is less than ideal for those wanting their messages to be read asap.
