The Rayman Legends dev has effectively narrowed down the release window for the WiiU. In an interview the developer, he states that Rayman Legends will be a WiiU launch title and that it’ll release ‘around November’.
If true this will follow the previous trends by Nintendo in releasing their home console in November. Both the GameCube and the Wii launched in November of 2001 and 2006. In the interview with GameXplain, Ubisoft’s David Martinez said that Rayman Legends will be a launch title and when pressed on a firm release date he said around November, skip to 5:49 in the video below.
Many were expecting a release date, price and games at Nintendo’s E3 but they looked to have failed on all fronts depending on who you ask. It has been rumoured that the console will come in at a £250 price point in the UK but nothing is confirmed as of yet.
