THQ has chosen former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson as a rather bizarre pre-order incentive for WWE 13.
Apparently, Tyson will be made available as DLC to all of those pre-ordering the game in the US and Canada, although no confirmation has yet been recieved as to whether this will also be the case in the UK and Europe.
Tyson did star in WWE briefly in his illustrious career, having made an appearance at WrestleMania XIV. He also returned once more in 2012.
“The baddest man on the planet is back – and only in WWE ’13,” Mr Tyson says. “Fans everywhere can now relive what I experienced during the Attitude Era.”
THQ’s VP of global brand management Sean Ratcliffe added: “As one of the most dominant champions in boxing history and one of the most memorable guests to ever be featured on WWE programming, Mike Tyson led an incredible revolution that changed the way fans perceive the sport.
“He was a tremendous addition to the ‘Attitude Era’ and is certain to attract a wide variety of fans to ‘live the revolution’ offered in WWE ’13.”
So what do you think of this inclusion? Would you be sad if the ‘baldest man in the planet’ never made the trip across the Atlantic?
