Nintendo UK Boss David Yarnton has stepped down from his role, joining a number of high profile executives to leave the company over the past year.
Yarnton, who has been at the company for 20 year, has left to “pursue opportunities for a change of career outside Nintendo”. European President, Satoru Shibata will now look after the UK until Nintendo find a replacement for the vacated role.
It seems that many of Yarnton’s closest contacts had no idea he was about to leave.
We wish him well for the future.
