Naughty Dog’s latest IP, The Last of Us, will not include co-op play, the developer has confirmed.
The main campaign will be single-player only, meaning that you will not be able to have a friend control the second character.
“We are supporting multiplayer with The Last of Us,” Creative director Neil Druckmann told Gaming Examiner. “We’re not ready to talk about the details of how multiplayer will be implemented, however we can say that it is not co-op within the main campaign.”
What multiplayer elements the game does include remains to be seen.
