Dragon’s Dogma sales have reached 1.05 million, according to Capcom’s April-June 2012 financial report.
Apparently the game ”exceeded expectations” in Japan, although also “struggled abroad”.
The great news about this is that we’ll be getting a sequel and hopefully it’ll arrive in the West as well as Japan.
Elsewhere, Capcom also singled out the 450,000 sales of Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, talked about Resident Evil 6 and also gave itself a pat on the back for its strategy surrounding DLC for major games.
Capcom’s net profits climbed to £11 million for April-June, an impressive 30 percent increase on the same time period last year. £151 million was made overall.
Video game company making money? Always good news.
